Terms of Service

By accessing or using the True Course platform — including the web application at truecourse.app and any associated mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and True Course Collective LLC (“True Course,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

True Course is a scenario-based aeronautical decision-making (ADM) training platform designed for use during ground-based study. The Platform includes Decision Point (AI-assisted scenario training), Dogfight: Battle Quiz (competitive knowledge quizzes), training analytics, and related features.

True Course is a supplemental training tool. It is not a ground school, flight school, or certified aviation training program. It does not confer ratings, certificates, or endorsements of any kind. Nothing on the Platform constitutes certified instruction under FAA regulations.

To access most features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep that information updated. You may not create accounts for other people without their consent, and you may not share your account credentials with others.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Platform.

True Course offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency of your selected plan (monthly or annually).

Free trial. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial period, your subscription will convert to the paid plan you selected and your payment method will be charged.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Your use of payment services is also subject to Stripe's terms of service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform during flight operations (see Section 3)
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Platform's source code
• Use automated tools to scrape, index, or collect data from the Platform
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use the Platform to train AI systems without our written permission
• Circumvent any technical measures we use to provide or protect the Platform
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation

All content, features, functionality, and technology of the Platform — including scenario content, training materials, AI models, software, design, and trademarks — are owned by True Course Collective LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial training purposes during your subscription. This license does not include rights to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from Platform content.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform (such as scenario responses). By submitting content, you grant True Course a non-exclusive license to use that content to provide the service, compute analytics, and improve the Platform.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR CERTIFIED INSTRUCTION. True Course is a supplemental training tool. It does not replace flight instruction, flight reviews, or other required training from a certificated flight instructor. Nothing on the Platform should be construed as instruction, advice, or certification of any kind.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any content is accurate, complete, or current. Scenario content is educational and should not be treated as authoritative guidance for actual flight operations.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRUE COURSE COLLECTIVE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TRUE COURSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
